Last weekend, friends invited us to go ski with them. We went to the Green Mountains in Vermont 15 days ago, this time we were in the White Mountains, in Western Maine. We were at Sunday River, at 960 meters. Not very high, but cold enough to have some snow.
That was a cool weekend in a big house, with about 15 people. I was glad to go in the hot tube by almost -10°C. Even if the water was hot, I had to wear a hat, or my hair would have simply freeze.
We were in Maine, and watched a curious documentary about the life of 2 trappers, Dead River, Rough Cut. I’m seriously thinking of shifting some things in my life and consider now to live in a cabin in the woods, ride a snow mobile and hunt beavers. Bye bye city life.
Didn’t know that flamingos were Maine animals.
