Mayfair // Harvard Square, Cambridge

Last Sunday, we went to a Mayfair on Harvard Square, in Cambridge. The program was music, food and craft stands. But the main interest was really all the ‘regional’ foods.

Midwest grill and guitar Barbecue

Midwest stand, or the contest of the biggest steak…

Kettle Corn

Classical Kettle Corn made in cast-iron pan

Corn and hot dog C'est bon Market & Liquors

La French touch…

From Hell

Free beverage… 5 hours of energy, really ?  – And Grandpa wants us to convert to his religion, NOW !

Ice Cream et Lemonade Walk for hunger

Ironically, on our way back, we saw the “Walk for hunger”

The day before, it was el Cinquo de Mayo. Yeah, we have to say it in Spanish, because it’s a Mexican celebration, about heritage and pride (and I read that they won a battle against French…). I didn’t see much of it, only a few sombreros, and unfortunately, not even once Margarita at night. NB. I’ve  never ate so much guacamole since I live in the US.
