Happy 2014! // 24 pics for 2013

Happy 2014! Hope that this year will be cool, fun and interesting.

January

  • First trip of the year: Miami Beach.
  • Complete change of scenery: we spent a weekend in the snow of Vermont. Loved it.

February

Février 2013
  • This was our first huge snow storm: Frankenstorm.
  • At the end of the month, I visited Arizona with my colleages. Fun team trip!

March

Mars 2013
  • No big trip away in March, but some friends visited us and we did our usual and beloved food trip in Boston.
  • Saint-Patrick is really a thing for Bostonian people.

April

Avril 2013
  • We were cheering people during the Boston marathon when the bombs exploded. Huge sadness in the city, followed by the Boston strong movement.
  • Friends visited us, and  I went with them to the Cape. Gimme some lobsta!

May

Mai 2013
  • I started working on a tourist guide for a French publisher, so I visited many places, starting with Maine, followed by New Hampshire.

June

Juin 2013
  • One of my best memory of this year: a trip to the beautiful island of Nantucket.
  • I graduated from a yoga teacher training, and celebrated it in an awesome yoga festival in Vermont.

July

Juillet 2013
  • Still touring in New England: we spent a couple of weekends in Connectictut.
  • So hot summer… I visited the Sam Adams brewery to get some freshness.

August

Aout 2013
  • We spent a delightful Sunday in Gloucester, on the Cape Ann
  • At the end of August, we left Boston to go to Seattle and started there a big road trip – many national parks, many scenic roads, this trip was a dream came true.

September

Septembre 2013
  • It’s not cold yet, so let’s enjoy a schooner trip in the Salem harbor, and a camping and hiking weekend in the White Mountains.

October

Octobre 2013
  • Oyster Fest! Thank you Cape Cod for existing.
  • Fall is the best season in Boston.

November

Novembre 2013
  • Thanks to a scientific conference, we spent a few days in San Diego, CA.
  • We celebrated for the second time Thanksgiving, sharing american traditions with our friends

December

Décembre 2013
  • Boston likes ornaments. For Christmas, the city was changed and the ambiance was great.
  • Back in France! After 2 years enjoying the US, we spent some weeks with our friends and family.
